As a friend of a cancer survivor you now face many challenges. Many times one is at a loss with words.  It is difficult to know how to be a friend.  It is difficult to see a friend struggle. After a year of dealing with cancer, I think cancer survivors should be given a Bachelor’s Degree in life.  The moment we are diagnosed with cancer we have to learn a lot in a short period of time.  We are now forced to make unwanted decisions that will affect the rest of our lives.  While facing these challenges friendships are lost and are strained. You now have to learn how you can be a better friend during this wanted journey and how to help your friends to become better friends.
